Welcoming your new baby is such a special and fleeting time, and it’s an honour for me to help preserve those early memories through beautifully styled, timeless portraits. In my studio, I create a calm and cozy space where every tiny detail — from the soft wraps to the gentle poses — is handled with patience, care, and love. I take great pride in capturing your baby safely and artistically, creating images that are classic, heartfelt, and unique to your family. These portraits are more than just photographs — they’re keepsakes you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
From the moment you arrive, my goal is to make your experience as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. I’ll guide you through everything — from selecting colours and props that suit your style, to gently posing your baby with safety and comfort always at the forefront. Sessions are unhurried, allowing plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, and settling, so you can simply sit back and soak in this special moment while I capture it for you.
Your Session Experience
Once your session is complete and your beautiful gallery is ready, you’ll be invited to view your images in a way that suits you best — either here in the studio or through a private online gallery. This is such a special moment, as you get to see your baby’s tiny features and sweet expressions captured forever.From there, you can choose your favourite images to include in your package, and you’ll also have the option to purchase additional photographs, wall art, or heirloom albums if you’d like to create something truly special for your home.Every session includes a selection of digital images, so you’ll always have a set of cherished photographs to keep, no matter which collection you choose. There’s never any obligation to purchase beyond your chosen package — my priority is that you leave with images you absolutely love.To secure your session date, a 20% booking deposit is required. This ensures your space is reserved during those precious first few weeks after baby’s arrival. Full Access Newborn Session — The Complete Experience
This session offers full use of my studio and everything in it — all props, outfits, wraps, and accessories are at your fingertips to create a beautifully varied gallery. We’ll capture a mix of family and sibling portraits (and yes, even your furry family members are welcome!) along with a range of styled newborn setups. Each session is guided by your baby’s comfort and pace, and while every little one is different, we typically explore 2–3 colour themes for a stunning, cohesive collection of images.

20 % Booking Deposit required at point of booking to secure your slot. Remaining balance due 48 hours prior to the session date.
After your session and once your beautiful images are ready, you are either welcome back to my studio to view your images. Or I can create for you an online gallery to view your images.*
At this point you’re welcome to select the images you’d like as part of your package, purchase any additional images and decide if you would like to purchase any wall art or albums.
Every session comes with included images / digital files. At no point are you obliged to purchase additional images outside of your package. Every session comes with a 20% booking deposit to secure your date. Any cancellation without rebook will forfeit the deposit.
All Sessions come with a choice of a private password protected gallery to view or a private studio revisit to view your images & the option to purchase additional JPEGS / Prints
All of your chosen images are printed onto the best quality paper & your digital images are delivered as high resolution files. The digital file collections all include printing rights.
** Once you've been sent your online gallery you will have a week to select your images. Failure to select during this time will result in the gallery being deleted and a admin fee of £20 to recreate it.
FAQ's For My Newborn Session
Are Family Included in the Photos?
I always offer immediate family to be included in some of the photos during your session.
Lots of parents will refuse and thats ok! I would not want anyone to feel pressured to have family portraits during the session & I leave it up to you on the day and see how you are feeling.
Worried about your appearance on the day? It's natural, you've not long given birth - your tired and possibly still uncomfortable. For times like these I offer a silhouette shot.
Even if you're not feeling your best this is a beautiful imitate shot that focuses on the love and connection between you and you're new baby - without having too much of parental details in shot.
Please note that extended family are not included but can be booked via a separate session.
What happens if my baby won't settle/sleep?
This is a very common worry amongst all of my newborn parents.
Firstly there is no rush during our session. I only book one newborn session a day and allow up to 4 hours to ensure that you feel no pressure. It is inevitable that we will have to stop for feeds, bum changing or maybe just a mummy cuddle. I know that every newborn session is different and if baby really wont sleep we will make it work best we can - capturing those beautiful eyes awake or the odd smile. But if there really is a struggle, I can always invite you back another time to retry.
In all my years of working with newborns I have never had to invite someone back - patience and understanding are key.
Do you offer newborn session's on the weekend?
The answer to this is no.
With newborn sessions I give you a 'floating' date based on your due date. If your little one is early or late I'm happy to adjust your date to suit. I leave additional weekdays free to accommodate for this as weekends tend to be booked with other shoot styles.
This is why it is also helpful to book your session during your maternity/paternity leave if you would like family shots. But not to worry, if your partner cannot make the session and you're wanting a family portrait I can always invite you back when they're able to join.
I have other older Children that attend School - but I want them in the session!
When siblings shots are wanted I always shoot these first.
That way your older children can be done and therefore leave the studio as it can be boring for little ones to sit around. I always aim to be done with these shots within 45 minutes of starting, this way siblings are more cooperative and less likely to be bored or distracted.
If they're unable to be out of school - I understand that some children are unable to get time from school - not to worry, if you are unable to bring them along I can always invite you back after school hours to get sibling shots.
Do we have to bring anything for our photos?
For my full newborn sessions all my props, backdrops, outfits and headwear is provided. These are hand selected and decided by you in a pre-session consultation. During the consultation I work with you to create a theme/style for the session so the final images are what you're dreaming of.
Of course if you have something personal or an idea you'd love to include please et me know and I'd happily make it part of the images.
Please note for my wrapped mini sessions only the pre-set up backdrop/set/prop is used.
Do you provide the unedited images / RAWS?
As standard I never supply the RAWS or unedited images. Sending these out would not be a true representation of my work and therefore they are not for sale or offered within any package.
Do we receive unedited images / RAWS aswell as our included images?
You only receive the images that are included in your session fee.
All other images can be purchased after the session, but they are never included in any package. I hand edit every one of the best images from our session for you to choose your favourites.
You are under no obligation to purchase additional images, and no hard sale is ever enforced. It is completely up to customers if they decide to purchase extra photos - whether digital or physical.
My baby has flaky skin/jaundice/blotchy skin, will this be edited out?
I hand edit every image that I feel is best from our session - this includes removal of all flaky skin, colour correction for jaundice and spot removal. I will always ask parents how much editing they'd like - but I would never assume to edit anything that is part of your child without permission. If your little one has any of these on our session please ensure, if you'd like me to, I will correct them for you free of charge/within your package fee.
How long is the shoot going to take?
My Bronze, Silver and Gold Newborn Sessions can. take up to 4 hours. My Mini Package can take up to 2 hours.
